Mr. Widisvaldo Romanbaez

Mr. RomanBaez became the Assistant Commander for Support on 24 January 2016. From November 2012 until assuming that position, he served as the Supply Chain Manager and Accountable Officer for Army Medical Department Center and School, Fort Sam Houston, Texas. Prior to that, from September 2010 until November 2012, he served as the Deputy Commander and Executive Officer for USA Medical Materiel Center-Korea (USAMMC-K). From 2007 to 2010, Mr. RomanBaez served as the S-4/ Logistics SGM for 18th MEDCOM and 65th Medical Brigade.

In addition to his years of service as an AMEDD Civilian, Mr. RomanBaez served 29 years on active duty. He entered the service on December 1981. He holds a Master Degree in Education, a Master Degree in Safety and Occupational Health, and an Associate Degree on Chemical Engineering. He is also Life Cycle Logistics Level II certified and completed the Operational Contract Support course. His military education includes Airborne, Air Assault, EFMB, Airlift Planner, Air Movement Operation, Hazardous Communication, Inventory Management, Waste Management, HAZMAT/ Hazardous Waste Handling, Small Group Instructor, Medical Logistics Officer Course, Faculty Development, Medical Facilities Management, Medical Logistics Management-70K, 92Y Senior Supply SGT Course, Battle Staff, 1SG Course, and The Sergeant Majors Academy.

Mr. RomanBaez' active duty assignments included the 32nd Med Log, JTF Bravo Honduras, Gorgas Army Hospital (Panama), Medical Logistics NCOIC, RG Drum as a RC and NG advisor, 91J senior instructor, NCOIC Logistics Division, 121 General Hospital, Korea, NCOIC Logistics Division 249th General Hospital, Operation NCO 147th Medical Logistics Battalion, 1SG 591st Medical Logistics, Battalion SGM, STB, NARMC, ACSLA, SGM and S-4/ Logistics SGM for 18th MEDCOM and 65th Medical Brigade.

Mr. RomanBaez' awards and decoration include Bronze Star, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal (6 OLC), Army Commendation Medal (5 OLC), Army Achievement Medal (4 OLC), Joint Meritorious Unit Award, Meritorious Unit Citation, National Defense Medal, Armed Forces Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, Expert Field Medical Badge, Parachute Badge and Air Assault Badge.
