The U. S. Army Medical Materiel Center-Korea participated in the peninsula-wide Key Resolve Exercise, an annual
exercise focused on transition to hostilities operations and the associated support requirements. USAMMC-K
provided 24/7 tactical operations center staffing, and as the United States Forces Korea (USFK) Theater Lead Agent
for Medical Materiel (TLAMM), collaborated with Joint and Combined medical logistics stakeholders within USFK.
Of note, 563rd Medical Logistics Company (MLC), in collaboration with USAMMC-K, validated logistics automation
ordering procedures during this exercise.
The 563rd MLC deployed a forward distribution team and successfully established this capability in a field
environment. Class VIII requisitioning occurred, USAMMC-K processed the requisition and supplies were delivered
to the supported unit within 24 hours.
In addition, 563rd MLCs Medical Maintenance section completed numerous work orders in support of 2nd Infantry
Division during this exercise to gain proficiency on tactical medical maintenance operations.
